Fitness should never be boring!
The fastest way to get derailed from your own
fitness goals is do the same thing every week
and every year. That’s why I have always been
excited by different types of exercise. Early in
my career I was a personal trainer, taught aerobics,
spinning and weight training in various studios
and gyms. After 25 years in the fitness
industry I have found my real passion to be Pilates.
No matter what fitness
level , body type, age
or day of the week, Pilates is geared to the individual.
I first became interested in teaching Pilates after
seeing many of my students becoming bored with
their fitness routine. I also saw many injuries
as a result of overwork in a certain areas of the
body. In Pilates you are working from the inside
out. By strengthening your “core” muscles,
the muscles inside your entire torso, you
are able to attain a higher level of fitness without
injury.
Pilates is equally beneficial for a professional
athlete or someone in their 70’s. In
this discipline there is always room for refinement
and improvement. You will leave feeling better
than when you came.
